Facts:
- These anemones have green spots all over their column which look a bit like the pips on a strawberry - hence the name
- Like the beadlet anemones they have a ring of blue warts which can be seen when the tentacles are fully extended
- Strawberry anemones don’t like being directly under the light in our tanks so tend to be found on the rocks around the edges
- Like the beadlet anemones, the strawberry anemones do retract their tentacles and will do so in our tanks if they have recently been fed
