The Centre is managed by Devon Wildlife Trust Marine Awareness Officer, Cat Ridout (with support from Devon County Council and South Hams District Council).

Each year the Marine Centre takes on full time volunteers - Marine Awareness Assistants, to help support the work at the Centre. The Assistants provide vital help to the Marine Awareness Officer and they gain valuable skills for their CVs.

This year Chris Johnstone and Kym Wain have joined the team and are currently being trained up to work with schools and run events. We thank them for all their hard work so far this season.

The Centre always needs volunteers to help on a part time basis too - both at weekends and on weekdays and volunteers can give as much or as little time as they like.

If you would like more information on becoming a volunteer at the Marine Centre in 2008, please contact us for more details. You can also follow the link to the Devon Wildlife Trust website where you can find out more.
