Love being on the beach? Interested in the creatures that live in the ocean? Find the items that wash up on the shore fascinating? Want to contribute to scientific data? Then this is the event for you!!
Don’t let the data survey put you off, we have devised a simple checklist and we will tally our finds. Staff and volunteers from the centre will be there to help with identifying anything we will find.
This event is suitable for any age – we have devised some fun scavenger hunt activities suitable for children!
We will walk along the coast path and drop down to Langdon beach for the strandline search. Please note that the coast path is uneven in places and the beach rocky so please wear appropriate footwear. Make sure you bring water as facilities are on the main beach only. We apologise but the coast path is not wheelchair or push chair friendly.
