Join our fully trained BSAC instructors for a snorkel safari around Wembury Bay. We will cover basic snorkelling techniques followed by a paddle around the Bay searching for and identifying underwater marine life. Suitable for beginners or more advanced snorkellers.
Full kit can be provided and is included in the cost.
Children must be 8 years+ to take part and all participants must be competent swimmers. Snorkelling in open water is an activity which requires general physical fitness and good health. You/your child should not take part in this activity if you/they have a history of diabetes, epilepsy (blackouts), perforated eardrums, high blood pressure, any lung or respiratory disorder. You will need to complete and sign a medical disclaimer to this effect on the day of the event.
You will need to bring with you on the day:
· Snorkel kit (unless you are hiring from us)
· Beach shoes/wetsuit boots (not crocs)
· Swimming shorts/costumes & rash vest (if you have one)
· Warm clothing for after snorkelling
· Lunch and drinks as necessary – there is a café on site which sells pasties, sandwiches etc.
· Any medication, inhalers etc.
Please note additional National Trust car parking charges apply at Wembury Beach.
You will be eligible for a refund if you cancel more than 7 days before the event. Any cancellation made within 7 days of the event is not eligible for a refund.
If the event is cancelled due to severe weather, we will either reschedule your booking to another event or offer you a refund.
