Rockpool rambles, guided walks, arts and crafts and more!
Wembury Marine Centre wardens organise a regular programme of events and activities. The most popular of these are rockpool rambles which will take you on a mini seashore safari to find crabs, fish, anemones and other creatures.
Rockpool rambles last approximately 1 hour 30 minutes and there is no need to book - just turn up on the day
Wembury Marine Centre is now closed for the winter, our rockpooling events will start again in April 2010. Over the winter you might enjoy some of the events our partners are running and our programme of monthly evening talks:

Event: Rockpool Ramble at Bigbury-on-Sea. This event is FREE and is organised by the Devon Wildlife Trust and the Venus Company as part of the Venus Beach Wildlife Fund project.

Location: Bigbury-on-Sea. Meet outside the Venus Cafe at 1pm, the Cafe is situated in the lower car park level near the public toilets. Pay and display car park. After the ramble everyone attending will receive a free hot drink courtesy of the Venus Cafe!
